From Tolerating to Thriving

How many times do we say, ‘well that’s just the way it is’, ‘this is my lot’, or ‘people have it worse off than me’. We can reach a state of resignation about our work and our lives. We lose what’s important to us, our callings, our purpose, our creativity. We lose so much of our time and energy doing things that we would prefer not to be doing.

How can we connect to meaningful work, our callings, our purpose and support ourselves and use our body as a tool for change?

Take a listen to this great conversation I had with Lisa de Jong, where we covered:

  • Navigating uncertainty when our cycles change

  • How connecting with our bodies can help us to stay in tune with our purpose

  • Cycles and seasons of different purposes and callings

  • Major life transitions and how they can empower us to embrace what we value vs. what society values

  • The need for work environments that are more supportive of all bodies

  • What it takes to move from the tolerating phase to our own personal version of thriving
